The WAP is a study group. This implies that an active contribution is expected from its members. The amount and way members contribute to the program depends on there available time and expertise. Some investigate plants encountered during holidays or cultivate plants at home, whereas others experiment with cultivation techniques. All share their experiences with each other during the meetings. Many members of the WAP write publications for a national magazine called Het Aquarium or the magazine of our German sister organisation Aqua-Planta, and other magazines. Other members are famous for their high quality images of aquatic plants.
